But my laptop is and my piece of crap replacement (my sister’s old laptop that she ‘threw’ at me because it was a piece of crap) has a slower (and less stable) internet connection than the ‘old’ one (I didn’t think that was even possible!). So…
…I’m not dead: I just smell that way!

…Hands up who thought I’d forgotten this month’s journal….

I just knew I’d have to be replacing it today so decided to wait until now and do it on my birthday.
Yes: I’m another year older. Although my knees seem to be aging in dog years: Little buggers!

Did the 'my birthday'/'Mother’s Day' lunch and gift thing. It was a good day. Finally got to see the pilot of The Sarah Connor Chronicles… Summer Glau! There’s a lady I would love to have sit for me!

April was a busy month (work, shoots, writing…
It was the first month since the start of the year (or just before) that I haven’t taken time off work. So that sucked.
Managed to get three shoots in (including an all-dayer with the incredible Sylvia [our fourth!]). We’re already plotting what deviantness to get up to on our FIFTH shoot….
And I’ve almost finished editing my first (publicly available) novel: A Science Fiction comedy that will be available in book and electronic form via Lulu.com. I’ll keep you posted as to when it’ll be released: Hopefully by the end of the month…. (Maybe/possibly I’ll post some excerpts….)
